Entertaiment is the act of providing amusement or pleasure. It can be achieved through movies, television shows, music, books, sports, games and the arts. The word comes from the Latin inter tenere, which combines the prefix inter, meaning “inside,” with the suffix tenere, derived from the root ten, meaning to stretch or lengthen.
